Two Months Old...

Chloe is 2 months old today, weighing in at 8.4 pounds. Here are some pictures from her most recent photo shoot (yesterday).

Dawn, THANK YOU for taking Chloe's pictures! http://web.me.com/dawnbraunphotography

Chloe got to experience her first airshow this weekend. She had a great time and enjoyed watching the airplanes. Her favorite part was the F-18 demo, which made LOTS of noise.

Utter Excitement to be at the Airshow

Chloe went to church for the first time this morning. She did good and I was happy to see that we could make it through an entire service quietly. She truly is a GREAT baby and I hope she continues to "behave" for the foreseeable future.

In a previous post, I talked about Sara and I getting used to the "new normal" which our life had become (after her cancer diagnosis). I'm happy to say that as time passes, Chloe and I are getting used to our "new normal" and things are getting easier with each passing week. Thank you for your prayers and unending support.

I had a baby on September 9 myself, and she has taken so much of my time that this is my first visit back since I originally heard about you guys.

I just thought I'd leave a note letting you know that, even though the initial flurry of attention has diverted elsewhere, some of us are still remembering you and lifting up prayers when we do.

Also, that Chloe is adorable :)

My oldest went to his first airshow when he was 18 months. He got his very own earplugs. He was so excited. He was on his first aircraft carrier at 6 months but it was static.

She is looking lovely. I love little babies when they do their little frog curls.

God has blessed you.

Look at sweet Chloe trying to raise her head. She's already an over-achiever! And you win all kinds of daddy awards for how cute she looks in her pictures. She even has bows on her head. Wow! Very impressive.

We love you Brady and are praying for you every night.

Chloe is so lovely! I'm glad she enjoyed the air show (or at least didn't seem to mind it!) and that she did well at church, too. You are doing a truly amazing job. She is a fortunate little girl to have such a devoted, kind Daddy.

Much love,
Colleen & Kyle Kolsti and family

Brad, thank you for your honesty, humility, candor, and especially your willingness to share your faith and your experiences with trouble in this life. I've been reading your posts for several months and am awestruck by your strength of character in the face of tragedy. Chloe is so blessed to be your daughter. I pray for you often.

Thanks for the updates. I have been following your blog since Kari Lynn Corbin (I can't think of her maiden name) asked us to pray for your family. Kari is a good friend of mine and stated she knew you from church in Florida.

Sorry we missed each other at the Air Show! I am headed back home to Houston tomorrow, see you Dec 4th at the concert, might want to bring ear plugs there for Chloe too! Chloe did better at the show than the kids I was with. They had ants in their pants!

Glad to hear that Chloe's not quite living up to the "double her weight" prediction that you made earlier. (: She's doing so well! And is just about the cutest little baby I've ever seen!
We still pray for your family and think of you often.
Thanks for sharing your life and your photos through your blog.

I love the thrilling air show video. My hubby is a former Air Force C-141 pilot. We took our newborn son (1989) to an air show which had pretty much the same effect on him. We were there for several hours and when we got home my husband commented that since the baby had slept the entire time we could have just left him at home!

Brad---you don't know me, I'm also a "follower" of the Sullivan blog and have been for the last four months. I just feel compelled to tell you how much your's and Sara's story has meant to me. It has awakened something in my heart that I haven't felt in quite some time and reminded how desperately I love the Lord and how he has blessed my life. Thank you, with all my heart, for sharing your life with all of us. It has truly been a gift and I will be forever grateful...Sara's legacy has touched yet another life. And Chloe is so precious, you are an amazing daddy. I pray for you both every day.

I've been reading your post since being directed here from another blog right after Sarah's passing.

I must say you are doing an AMAZING job with that beautiful little girl. The reason she is excelling is because you are celebrating the life of Sarah. I know you must have your moments.

Keep up the good work! Looks like she really enjoyed the air show. ;) (no worries we took my daughter to one at 4 mos, and she slept through the whole thing too!)

These are beautiful pictures! I enjoy reading your updates. Continuing to pray for you and Chloe.

You don't know me, but I just wanted to say...Chloe is absolutely beautiful! She looks like such a happy baby. I know her mama is watching over you both and smiling ear to ear with pride at how wonderful of a daddy you are to sweet Chloe. Prayers for continued strength and comfort. During a time most would fall apart, you have an amazing testimony of faith.

The pictures are great. Somehow though the "excitement" of the airshow was not showing through hehe..think daddy's wishful thinking maybe?? Glad things are slowly falling into place! Yall are truly blessed to have each other and have Sara watching out for both of you! Happy 2 mos Chloe!
